One of the hallmarks of liberty is a reliable legal system. In totalitarian countries, one of the ways you control people is to keep them perpetually off-balance. The law and its application are utterly unpredictable. People become paralyzed and dare not do anything that might offend the regime, lest they get destroyed. And that’s what we’re seeing in Canada, where the newly dictatorial government is making no pretense of abiding by the rule of law.
A very specific aspect of the rule of law is that new laws are not applied retroactively. In a free country, one with a safe, reliable legal system, if it was legal for you to buy a croissant on Monday, the fact that the law changed on Tuesday to make croissants illegal does not mean that the police can come and arrest you for that Monday croissant. In a police state, of course, the police can arrest you at any time for anything, including engaging in conduct that was legal when you engaged in it.

It’s looking more and more like one shot at the ballot box for both Canada and the U.S. If that doesn’t work, the bastards are going to have to be shot without ballots.
These actions are going to motivate some lone wolf to go Timothy McVeigh and that does not bode well for anyone. McVeigh let it be known that he needed a high body count to be heard. He was willing to accept collateral damage in the way of “civilian casualties.”
The most dangerous man in the world is aman who has nothing left to lose and these fucking idiots in Canada are doing everything to make sure that as many people who were even simply there protesting are left in exactly that condition. The law of probability is that there are people out there plotting events like happened in Oklahoma City, quietly assembling the means to unleash their response and patiently waiting for the proper moment. The other thing is this is EXACTLY the response that the people around the world who are directing this know all about it and are all in for it. It is what they need to take their tyranny to the next level.
Perhaps it will turn into a northern migrant caravan for a change, just to balance out all the new dem voters from Central America?

I participate in work conference calls and listen to the typical problems being encountered and I wonder if these are even worth worrying about, knowing what is coming…
I am deeply concerned that peaceful protesters in Ottawa, Canada, are being brutally and unjustifiably attacked for the suppression of freedom and democracy by the Canadian government. . We call on the Canadian government to exercise restraint, not use violence, respect the people’s freedom to demonstrate, and not suppress protesters.
The Canucks were arresting protestors for ‘mischief’ FFS. Dudley Dooright is rolling over in his grave.
As for ‘Reliable justice system” the current infestation of our guvmint is NOT leading by example………or maybe they are….
