Every single time I think it’s impossible for Bill “Captain Cruise Ship” Kristol to damage his reputation any further, he proves me wrong.
For his latest bit of self-immolation, Captain Cruise Ship has enlisted former 1-term Republican Congressman and bitter Never Trumper Joe Walsh to be his next quixotic candidate to take on Donald Trump.
To say Joe Walsh is a hot mess is an understatement.
Last week, Human Events Editor-in-Chief Will Chamberlain pretty much laid bare just what an awful first mate Walsh is in his column “Bill Kristol Wants Joe Walsh To Primary Donald Trump.” You really should read it.
Walsh has a history of saying some borderline racist and flat-out insane things that, if Trump said them, would make Captain Cruise Ship clutch his pearls and scream “Trump is unfit!!!”
But because Walsh began his campaign by issuing an apology for his years of reckless rhetoric, Kristol embraced him like the Second Coming of Reagan.
While it’s true politics makes for strange bedfellows, the Kristol/Walsh alliance is just creepy and weird.
Chamberlain combed through Walsh’s Twitter feed and let’s just say, Bill’s new first mate is as incendiary as Ilhan Omar or Rashida Tlaib – not to mention as rhetorically reckless as that Jew-hating bigot Paul Nehlen.

Joe Walsh has repeatedly failed to meet his responsibilities. During the 1990s, he did not pay his taxes on time on several occasions and had tax liens filed against him. In 2000, Walsh was sued for not paying for his new furnace. In 2009, the bank foreclosed on his property. Walsh’s campaign manager from 2010 sued him for not getting paid. Walsh admitted in the Daily Herald he did not pay child support from March, 2008 to December, 2010. Regardless of whether or not he is having his taxpayer-funded salary garnished to finally pay his child support in an election year settlement, Joe Walsh’s claim that he is not a deadbeat just does not square with the fact that he repeatedly does not pay his taxes or his bills on time,” said Kaitlin Fahey, Campaign Manager, Duckworth for Congress.
It’s really kind of sad when you look at it. Kristol is old and getting older. His time at the top of the Republican/Conservative stack ended long ago and he no longer swings any kind of power in a DC that used to be his playground. He doesn’t really care about conservatism, just the perks and power he used to have. I’d bet cash money if Trump offered him a position of some power he’d have a revelation about the President and support him completely and blaming his prior #NeverTrump position on his meds. It’s time he left town to take over from Floyd the lofty position of barber in the town of Mayberry. He certainly has the brains and backbone of old Floyd.
What is crazy is anyone wanting us to look at Trump’s mental fitness. The guy is functioning on all cylinders. He provides unscripted media access daily and often spends 30+ minutes answering questions. He runs circles around everyone. Compare to the dem front runner that thinks he is in Vermont even though no one in their sane mind would be campaigning there, you’ve got the woman that claims her high cheekbones made her a Cherokee, and Sanders who is so rude and uncouth he turned off his fellow comrades in SF and then you have these deranged nevertrump clowns. Pelosi that can’t finish a thought and a bunch of outright vile unabashed dem antisemites. And they want to discuss Trump’s mental health and fitness. Is this the bizarro wold?!

When I was a kid my dad would always mute Kristol when he was on Fox News, and when I would ask why he’d just say that he didn’t like him.
When I got a little older I realized why my dad disliked him, Kristol is a blithering idiot and a greedy liar.
