  1. I think it was Charlie Kirk, the gist of it is that the nonsense is going to stop and stop now. This is no time for half measures. These guys he’s putting in aren’t up for any bullshit out of anyone.

  2. All IOTW readers have their own flashpoint issues, issues personal for some reason and paramount in addressing and correcting, demanding immediate attention, mine has been the deficit spending and our military.

It was music to my ears to hear Pete admit that anyone involved in DEI would be eighty-sixed. Those promoting DEI clearly have no concept of military life. There is a great scene in A Few Good Men where Col. Jessup talks about unit cohesion,”You ever served in an infantry unit, ever served in a forward area, ever put your life in another man’s hands or asked him to put his in yours?”. The front-line warrior depends on the men to his left and right for his very life and the greatest catastrophe he could ever endure is to let his unit down, a unit that is made up of all races dedicated to one goal and this is what makes effective warfighting. Pete understands this.

  3. Carl is an awesome guy. What I find interesting is it’s not so much what Carl said, he was on the money on every point, it’s how he said it. In my opinion this reflects how most of us feel. We’re mad as hell and this shit ends now. I think most of us celebrated Trumps yuge win for maybe a day and then we were back to “fix this shit”. Kind of a quite determined resolve. The upcoming approval process should be interesting.

Mine too. I think the first thing Elon needs to figure out is how to end Base Line Budgeting. It encourages waist, fraud, and abuse. Which the DOD actually has a department named just that. Obviously they’re not very effective. Our military has been driven into the ground in four short years. That’s one place we need to probably triple spending.
