A Centers for Disease Control report released in September shows that masks and face coverings are not effective in preventing the spread of COVID-19, even for those people who consistently wear them.
A study conducted in the United States in July found that when they compared 154 “case-patients,” who tested positive for COVID-19, to a control group of 160 participants from the same health care facility who were symptomatic but tested negative, over 70 percent of the case-patients were contaminated with the virus and fell ill despite “always” wearing a mask.
“In the 14 days before illness onset, 71% of case-patients and 74% of control participants reported always using cloth face coverings or other mask types when in public,” the report stated. more

This is not going to be well received by our politically correct lifestyle enforcers.
This is why I always wear a Dracula Halloween mask. Since COVID-19 originated from bats, it avoids me out of professional courtesy.
OK – It’s time to look at which politicians own stock in mask companies, and for those that do, when did they buy it.
Sadly, those I know who are mask advocates will not change their minds due to this data. They will just say the cdc still wants everyone to wear masks so they will still promote them. You can’t use reason with zealots.

I wondered how long it would take for this report to be made. I saw it coming and I ain’t that smart. Another report to later come out: Covid mutates like a flu virus (gasp!) and will always be changing. That should keep the vacine makers real buisy. How long are morons going to keep going?

Having taken the time to lookup the filtering capabilities of the Paper masks, homemade Cloth masks,Commercial washable cloth masks, n-95 and KN-95 masks.
I learned the filtering ability of the most pubic commonly worn masks, is not down to the filtering .03micron level and size of the Covid-19.
The N-95 and KN-95 being borderline at best due to design and air expellation and intake issues..
BTW: The commonly purchased and worn bluest color Paper masks clearly state “NON-Medical Use” on many of the boxes.
OBTW: A majority come from CHINA also.☺

A 3% difference from the control group doesn’t prove much, except that about 70% wear masks in public.
Those at risk should wear an EFFECTIVE mask and those blue ones sure aren’t -Walmart gave me one – you can feel your breath going out the sides (path of least resistance). The n95s I have are ~5 years old, from when Obama was importing Ebola – so they would be considered expired because the electrostatic effect which catches particles smaller than .3 micron loses effect over time.
The mask debate this country should be having is: “what aholes allowed outsourcing of everything to the point we can’t even manufacture such protective gear.”
