Celebrities slammed for taking part in ‘One World’ benefit concert for the WHO: ‘Commie propaganda’

Lifezette: On Saturday night, a line-up of A-list celebrities took part in the “One World” benefit concert for the World Health Organization (WHO). This has since come back to bite the stars, however, as they are being widely slammed for participating in a concert to raise money for an organization that many feel is responsible for helping to cover up the coronavirus pandemic when it was still in China.

Breitbart News reported that the lineup of performers included Taylor Swift, Paul McCartney, The Rolling Stones, Beyonce, Oprah Winfrey, Jennifer Lopez, Elton John, and Lady Gaga, who went so far as to describe WHO Director-General Tedros Adhanom as a “superstar.” Former first ladies Michelle Obama and Laura Bush also made appearances during the benefit, as did former soccer star David Beckham and Microsoft founder Bill Gates. more

  1. We all know who pays the Music Industry’s pay checks, and it isn’t us. Time to “Dixie Chinks” the whole rotten bunch of them, let them sell their pop swill in China.

  2. My view is d9ifferent. The whole UN. should be under benefit concerts.

  3. “One World?” These people don’t really live in the same world as the rest of us – they make millions as entertainers, live in mansions, and are financially able to ride out the various government edicts which are destroying the world economy.

Most of the world will feel the financial pain from this panic for years to come – particularly if the stay at home orders are extended for another month. Retirement accounts will take years to recover. At some point, mortgage and rent payments will have to be made up, or the lenders and landlords will be forced to take huge financial losses. Our leaders are releasing criminals from jails and prisons. Retail, and particularly brick and mortar retailers, were on shaky financial ground to begin with and this involuntary closure will kill many of them. Most restaurants operate on thin margins, and even if allowed to reopen soon, they will be forced to enforce social distancing which will eat further into any profits.

There are a lot of folks all over the world in the same pandemic panic boat, but it ain’t these folks.

  4. Only these gasbags would even think anyone is interested in their stupid “concerts” right now. I didn’t even know Oprah or Bill Gates could sing or play an instrument.

They obviously don’t know what genuine anger really looks like; they only feign it in their tiresome rants.

    > Most of the world will feel the financial pain from this panic for years to come

Which causes them to squeal, “More! Harder!”

Their loss(es?) should be mourned… why?

  6. Same bullshit as Do You Know it’s Christmas Time and We are the World, heart tuggging make me feel garbage. They will never get over their own awfullness and their horrible pop music 95% of which will be forgotten to history. And I LOVE my ‘pop’ music. Well at least the Beatles and Stones…

BUT this POTUS won’t be forgotten, by any means.

That was the first thing that popped into my head when I saw this. I said to myself: Good for them, that is exactly how they should be funded. Both entities are into the illusion that they care about anything, they are a good fit for one another.

  8. @Aaron Burr – my ole’ revolutionary friend, yeah, you saw that didn’t cha?? I miss those days!

The board I rode on was an acrylic based board, a GT, with those pastel colors, bought under the Jerome Ave El at a place called Corners, probably was 30 bucks at the time??

The best was going down the garage ramps, in tandem sitting, in the garages of Co-Op City.

There is a slight hill , no traffic, right behind the house, maybe I should give it a run?? Sitting down first of course, first just to get the feel of it…

I never even made it to a plywood board, but I liked roller hockey (four wheel each foot) on the asphalt better anyway, it toughened ya up right quick.
