SHENYANG, Sept. 2 (Xinhua) — China’s first industrial robot production line is expected to start operation in the northeastern city of Shenyang this month.
SIASUN Robot and Automation Co. Ltd. will be the first to jump start China’s industrial robot production with an annual capacity of 5,000. Their facilities will produce robots applied in welding, hauling, assembling, stacking, grinding and polishing, according to Qu Daokui, the company’s CEO.
He said the production line is undergoing tests and the exact date of operation is yet to be announced.8 The application of robots has expanded from the high-end industries such as automobile and electronics manufacturing to traditional industries, including metal processing, bathroom hardware, food and drinks, said Qu, who is also director general of China Robot Industry Alliance.

If I had a humanoid robot I would train it to hunt me. I would take off and the robot would have to find me. Then The robot would take off and I would hunt it. Once that game is over b
I would use it as a security device. Always on duty to handle an intruder. Or driving me around and staying beside me again as security.
It could help me at the range. Telling me how to make a precision shot. And it would pick up all the brass when I’m done.
Great! Now maybe we can buy them and use them to make rocket engines so we don’t have to buy them from the Russians.
Late to the party as usual. Ever hear of Fanuc? They’ve been doing it for the last 20 years
Maybe they ought to concentrate on patty-flipping, burger-making sack-out-the-window robots.
If the $15/hour Mickey D employee thing happens, then they’ll be running three shifts a day.

If they make Sammich Making Robots, will that mean we should reduce the female population to 10%?
*satire*
I can see the future. Young Chinese will immigrate to the U.S. looking for jobs (or welfare). Obama will grant them amnesty.
“Lobots” is Chinese for robots. Just FYI.
