Christian Man Denied Service By THIRTEEN Gay Bakeries After Requesting Pro-Traditional Marriage Cake

BUZZPO: When gay activists target Christian bakeries, everybody gets up all up in arms over it and freaks out. Some Christian bakeries that refused service were even made to undergo comprehensive training on anti-discrimination laws because of reports that the bakery was turning away customers who wanted gay wedding cakes made. They are called bigots and slammed with hate.

However, when Shoebat.com decided to call thirteen pro-gay bakeries and ask for the words “Gay Marriage Is Wrong”, they were met with insults and hatred. In short, they were met with the same intolerance that the people wanting “Support Gay Marriage” cakes were met with at Christian bakeries… yet these pro-gay bakeries had no backlash against them.

Yet, as Shoebat.com asked, it is curious what the reaction would be had the callers asked for “Support Polygamy” or “Polygamy is Wrong” cakes.. because we’re betting the slogans would be considered opinions, would be considered free speech. We’re also betting that the bakeries would have made the cakes.  MORE

40 Comments on Christian Man Denied Service By THIRTEEN Gay Bakeries After Requesting Pro-Traditional Marriage Cake

  1. Calling a bakery and asking them to put on your wedding cake “Gay Marriage Is Wrong” is not the same thing as just going into the bakery and asking them to make a traditional wedding cake for a heterosexual marriage. Apples to Oranges.

  2. Please explain the difference between putting same sex couples on the Christian baked cake and putting Gay Marriage is Wrong on the gay baked cake.
Guess it depends on just who’s ox is being gored, eh?

  3. Pushy,
That’s a good name for a barking moonbat.Phone call, email, verbally in person, smoke signals, morse code or semaphore it does not matter. The point is that the left and their cherished degenerate sodomites are glaring hipocrites.
BTW sweetheart the cliché is “comparing apples to oranges”.Me thinks that like most libtards the logic circuits in your brain are fried…. homo sexuality is an abominations in the eyes of God.

  4. shoebat.com should know better.
ENOUGH of the “oh, it’s so hypocritical” crapola.

If he doesn’t follow-up with aggressive lawsuits, he’s just showing what a whiner he is.

    Sue, or STFU.

  5. I would probably ask them, in person with hidden camera, to put one of these verses on a cake:

    Galatians 6:7
Do not be deceived: God cannot be mocked. A man reaps what he sows.

    Leviticus 18:22
Do not have sexual relations with a man as one does with a woman; that is detestable.

  6. it was never about discrimination.
it was always about a political movement.
government promotion of a minorities view over the majorities.
don’t even think about a politician having the spiritual strength of Lot and condemning it for what it is either.

  7. I’d like shoebat to do the same experiment requesting a wedding cake with a man and a little boy on the top tier with NMBLA written on it, and a woman and a horse on top, and as was said before, a man and 4 or 5 women on top.

I bet they’d be fine with the figures posed in suggestive ways, too.

Are homoqeer fine with polygamy? If it’s deviant it’s ok? or does it have to be completely unnatural?

  8. Pushy – you are sooooo wrong! It is exactly the same thing as asking a Christian to support something they find detestable. Asking the gay bakers to just make a cake with male and female figures on the top might actually get done because it’s not such a “slap in the face” as gay marriage is wrong, but I’d bet many of them wouldn’t even do that.

  9. Crazyeighter, How about this: As a Christian, I should not sell or provide services that encourage sin – selling booze to someone I know abuses alcohol, selling lockpick sets to burglars, working in the porn industry…. If we care about our brothers and sisters as we should, we should be kind and supportive to them but NOT enablers, and not ease their consciences by pretending we accept or condone what they do and what they stand for if those things are harmful to them or others.

  10. If I were a bakery owner and someone asked for a cake for a gay wedding I’d file a sexual harassment suit against them.
No one should answer questions about their sexual preference or religious preference because someone is ordering a cake.
What gives militant gays the right to ask anything of anyone? It’s none of their business. Does a child molester have the right to ask for a child molester cake? Or a murderer?
I would find 50 ways to sue and put the militants on the defensive.
    Enough already.

  11. Roflmao there does happen to be a big difference. Homosexuals aren’t asking for some writing about a legitimate cause on their cakes they are just wanting to buy a beautiful cake for a wedding. It’s the context and content being used that makes this such an idiotic story. It would literally be the same as calling up a Christian bakery and asking them to write Satan is the all powerful on a cake. Perhaps if the lib tards, right wing nuts, and homo crats, as you all like to call each other, would pull your collective heads out of deep dark places maybe you might get a legitimate story.

  12. If I’m baking cakes, I’m in business to make money. Therefore I would charge $20,000 or more for all wedding cakes. At the hetero wedding, I would give a freewill monetary gift equal to the cost of the cake minus the fair market value of said cake to celebrate the bride and groom. At the homo wedding, I’d be $20,000+ richer. No discrimination and I honor whom I choose.

  13. mike , here’s the thing — it’s not a wedding. Not at all. Marriage is between one man and one woman, not between two guys who are proud because they suck their own shit off of each others dicks. That’s just not a legitimate marriage in the eyes of anybody but a mentally ill sexual pervert.

Is that too harsh for you?

  14. Poor ole fucking fags can’t get pizza anywhere else?

    How bout Salami’s Faggot Pizzeria?
It’s not about Pizza to Go, it’s about Pizza to Cum!
    OR
    Mohammed’s Pedophile and Queer Pizzeria!
Made with genuine halal little girl pee and boy butter!

  15. Unruly refugee I am here I do have other things to do other than pretend to be God and lay judgement, which by the way last time I checked that’s his job not yours, but I digress you are missing the point of what I said like any generally irrational person. The reporting in this article is pretty much a children’s attempt at reporting he is calling up and asking for something that is generally considered a verbally offensive thing, now if he had gone with a woman and asked for a wedding cake for him and his soon to be wife and got denied service based on him being straight then I might have lended the article some credibility, and as for your thought on my marriage to our president you apparently missed my jab at all the parties so what makes you even remotely think I enjoy him being president. Next time read and comprehend instead of partially reading and then assuming.

  16. Mike, “mike” is a nickname for Barry 0bama’s husband michelle.
You sound a lot like her/him. You gays confuse the hell out of me sometimes.

And you don’t think it’s offensive to a Christian to be forced to violate their religious beliefs to appease a sexual pervert?

Why don’t you queers ever try that cake trick at a muslim bakery? Got no balls, have you?

  17. Actually having been deployed and being around real Muslims not the radicals they honestly don’t really care the true Muslim faith is actually quite peaceful it is the radical Muslims that give it a bad name. But of course now your gonna come back with something derogatory about the military as well I suppose if you did I wouldn’t be surprised. The fact that you have resorted to mocking me and saying that I’m gay means you’ve ran out of things to say instead of debating logically. So go ahead and continue on I’m waiting for your next temperamental hate filled speech from someone whose religion claims to love all equally and says that only God has the right too judge people’s actions but they do nothing but judge others.

  18. crazyeighter , I think it has more to do with not wanting to offend God. Didn’t Jesus perform his first miracle at a wedding?
Matrimony is supposed to be holy, not faggy.

    Does that help any? :-]

Actually it doesn’t. Would you tolerate one of your children, or one of your congregation being treated like that by a baker or a pizzeria owner or a florist?

How does someone else’ choice of who to marry harm YOU?

And of all the admonitions, restrictions and commandments in the Old Testament, why do Christians in general and fundamentalists in particular focus in like a laser on THIS?

By the way, Leviticus 201:13 requires you to drag homosexuals out of their houses and stone them. If you’re not willing to step up and do this, I don’t want to hear about how selling them a cake offends your faith.

And the reason I wouldn’t go to a moslem bakery is that their “faith” offends ME.

  19. @crazyeighter , you need to talk to a rabbi or someone more qualified than me.

“How does someone else’ choice of who to marry harm YOU?” I don’t know, by threatening to burn down your pizza restaurant?? That seems a bit harmful?

  20. Whose business is it, anyway?

Nobody has a “right” to your product.
Nobody has a “right” to your labor.
Nobody has a “right” to your association.
Nobody has a “right” to force you to offend your conscience – not even the fucking bureaucracy!

So Fuck Off, Faggots! Go to a Faggot Bakery!
And Fuck Off, Straights! Go to a Straight Bakery!

  21. Saw that coming from a mile away lmao sorry to disappoint my afsc was 3e331 also known as structural journeyman was deployed on Oct. 15 2001 with RED HORSE out of Hurlburt Field we and just so you know RED HORSE is a combat engineering squadron, of course you probably have no clue what I’m talking about but we are going off on tangents my whole point is the article was written horribly the investigative reporting was done slipshod at best I’m really not debating the content I’m debating the methods used to write the article but you missed that point lol not surprised really based off how you can’t help but write like a pissed off teenager, and by that I mean all you do is cuss and write slurs to one effect or another, you didn’t read what I really said. So use your big boy words and again really read what I said and just maybe you’ll see what I’m trying to say

  22. Al Udeid air base we happened to be the ones that built the bare base and the parking ramp at that particular spot as well as bedding down the RED HORSE squadron in U.A.E. among other things copy and paste how cute don’t need to copy and paste a reality but that’s cool not surprised I make a little bit of sense and that frightens you so you have to attack the validity of every statement

  23. Sorry to say sapper isn’t really an Air Force term in the construction field it’s more of a term for Army demo guys if your going to use the terminology use it with the right branch that’s like calling a Navy guy a jarhead

  24. I would hardly call the U.A.E. in country. Nevertheless if you served, thanks. Very unusual to find anybody that’s been over there come back with such liberal view points.

  25. No, sapper is not an air force term. But you still had to look it up on google.

That sounds like real dangerous work, mike. And you say you were surrounded by friendly moslems?

I’m a little harder to convince. But we do have respect for our military troops here, if you’re not bullshitting. You sound too much like a progressive faggot to be military. Just being truthful. I have engineers in my family who served both theaters.

  26. @crazyeighter , you need to talk to a rabbi or someone more qualified than me.

“How does someone else’ choice of who to marry harm YOU?” I don’t know, by threatening to burn down your pizza restaurant?? That seems a bit harmful?

Rabbi wouldn’t be much of help; they’re not stirring the shit about who gets the cake from where.

The threats to burn down the pizza restaurant came from a third party after the owner made an issue of who he would and would not serve.

Oh, but this has been refreshing. After encountering attitudes like this, I walked away from religion and Christianity 45 years ago, and everything I’m seeing here and other websites tells me I made the right choice. Same intolerance, same hypocrisy, same ass-holiness.

This weekend of all weekends, Christians need to be reminded that your Jesus didn’t die so that bakers, florists and pizza parlor owners can treat part of their clientele like shit.

  27. crazyeighter , I will always reserve the right to refuse service to anybody, and I don’t give a shit what the overreaching government has to say about that.

There was only one sinless man. If you think you are supposed to find righteousness among men, I can understand why you might be disappointed with Christianity.

My advise would be, don’t let man get between you and God. I walked away from churches full of people trying to be their own god, but I can never walk away from God.

This life is just a drop in the ocean. What comes next is what matters more. And that could be any day now.

I wish you the best, crazyeighter. Hope you can find peace too.

  28. I think I’ve caused enough trouble today. Didn’t start it though.
I don’t even eat cake. But the fact still remains, even every homosexual has one mother and one father. Real marriage = One Man + One Woman. Everything else is just a fairy tale.
