The Liberty Daily: Fellow Christians, we have a crisis we seem unable to recognize every election cycle. Many registered Christians sit out of elections year after year with the claim that the candidate their fellow Republicans selected in the primary is not a sufficient enough Christian to be of service to our nation and to represent their values. (And yet they never run themselves.) This is frustrating because their boycott hands the other side, which is far less Christian, the vote. Our country has suffered too much under this mindset as ANY election that had included these boycotters’ votes would be won by the Christian majority.
Let’s look at it from another point of view.
Did Christ choose perfect men as His apostles to carry His word?
Was Saul just such a great guy at slaughtering Christians that Christ said, “Gotta have that guy on my team?”
There has been but one perfect man on this earth and his name was Jesus. All other men fall short, and even the best people of the Bible were flawed. God is used to using flawed men to build his kingdom. And He can make any person a better person. more here
“There has been but one perfect man on this earth and his name was Jesus.”
And if Jesus Christ himself ran for office, the libs would sue to keep him off the ballot because: “Separation of church and state!”
So, yeah, vote for the best option: fellow sinners who acknowledge the value of life and the fact that our imperfect legal system is based on Judeo-Christian values.
Shout it from the rooftops.
Voted already so am leaving it in the Hands of The Almighty. Lord Jesus , please help us to heal the USA, Amen .
Nobody is perfect. No candidate is perfect. Too, we are not electing a new pastor. This is a secular matter. Christians must vote for the candidate closest to our value system. One thing is clear, though: a vote for Kamala is a vote to continue sacrificing our children to Moloch.
It’s become apparent that some Christians will look for any excuse not to cast a vote for President DJT, or to avoid voting for anyone.
An eligible Christian who votes for Kamala, or who fails to vote, is serving Satan.
I have voted. They had 126 voters by 9:30. that seems low but maybe that is because there are a lot of polling places.since I have been here I have been to two but this was a new one.
I double checked both the screen and the print out to make sure there was not problem. There were some. judicial positions where there was only one candidate (of the other party, of course) so that made it easy to check the print out.
I can’t wait to see the breakdown demographics after the election.
Jews, Christians, hispanic, black, etc.
It should be a landslide but damn, how many Jews will STILL vote democrat.

MJA & FUR, No Election Day Open Thread today?
I went to the wayback machine at IOTW to look at the open thread on 11/8/16 (we were all so much younger!), to see what I’d written that morning:
“Ahhhh! Woke up early to a blue-skied, crisp fall day in Latte Land. Can see both the Cascade and Olympic ranges perfectly. Everything is pure potential today!
Filled out my ballot along side Geoff C. The Saltine over coffee. He’ll drop them off in Ballard at the Library. Will be interesting to hear if there are any lines for drop off there. I miss going to our tucked-away precinct at UPS, where you run into neighbors and are greeted by the same poll workers every election. We’ve got to do something to ensure absolute integrity in our voting.
Here’s a quaint Irish prayer that came to me this morning:
“May those who love us, love us; and those who don’t love us, may God turn their hearts; and if He doesn’t turn their hearts, may he turn their ankles so we’ll know them by their limping.””
AbigailAdams – Thanks for sharing that Irish prayer. My Dear Departed Hubby was half Irish and that’s one I hadn’t heard before . May the wind be always at your back . Love to you and Geoff !!
Dearest Geni — Thank you for your kind words. I’m sorry your husband isn’t with you today to appreciate that prayer. I bet he knew it, though! Our love in return dear friend.
….This year was a bit different. Actually, the past 4 years have been a lot different. We all know we were on the precipice of — without doubt — the best year, 2021, this country has known in the past 100 years. Under POTUS Trump’s leadership we were already pulling out of the worst of the effects of the Covid lockdowns and its economic impact. We had suffered a shock, but we were meeting the challenges in our typical, American way; rolling up sleeves and punching it out or lifting it up.
It seemed the evil Left couldn’t even knock us down with a global pandemic. Then came the steal. Even then, we believed justice would prevail in the face of the mountains of evidence. But as weeks turned into months turned into years, we were left with “no standing” and those who stuck their necks out were picked-off two and three at a time by bankrupting lawfare and weaponized government. And if that wasn’t enough to break our spirits, we’ve endured the widespread violence and lawlessness of antifa and blm, and the occupation of our cities and towns by illegal mobs of border jumpers. Some many of them flown into interior destinations by our own lawless government and tax-paid NGO helpers.
In 4 short years that have felt like dog years on many levels, we’ve gone from standing on the very cusp of uncharted American Greatness to standing in grocery stores trying to decide if we should splurge on cheese, or should we go without eggs for another week in order to put gas in our cars.
Drive by many protestant churches in CA and they have gay flags flying, lesbian/gay ministers…not sure if I want those congregations voting.
(I didn’t know this was going to turn into a cathartic tome, but here goes.)
….Two things happened to me after it was clear Joe Biden and his skanky wife were to remain in our White House, the most important of which was to question God’s plan for us and why. The second was to vanish from IOTWReport for the most part because I knew the only way I could get through Biden’s time in office was to hunker. What came of that strategy was a renewed search into my own relationship with God and a re-doubled effort to obey Jesus Christ. Radical obedience is a real eye-opener and as for me, anyway, instilled a reality-shaking, I think first-time-understanding of what the fear of God actually feels like. Some of you may have perceived how AbigailAdams had turned into the site’s full-blown “Church Lady” when I did comment.
My hope for the past 4 years has been that everyone understand the real message of scripture contained in Chronicles 7:14. It’s the one everyone recited in the run-up to the ’16 and ’20 General Election. It’s the one that traitor, Mike Pence, liked to trot out while he was stabbing Trump and all of us in the back:
“If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.”
The part of God’s promise here is absolutely conditioned on something that has been overlooked: “…and turn from their wicket ways..”
Further, “we” cannot turn from “our” wicked ways. No one can do your heavy lifting on this. Each of us, individually, must do our own turning away. And that’s what has consumed me in the past 4 years. It’s not easy.
….And so.
God is going to do what God is going to do — today and every day henceforth. Will he “save” America? I don’t know. For what purpose would he save us? Who knows, but that we are as stupid and wicked as his people Israel, who wandered and wandered and cried out time after time, only to end up building another altar to Baal.
Today I am as hopeful and prayerful. And humbled.
It’s not the same “blue-skied day” in Seattle as 8 years ago. There are clouds with intermittent blasts of sunshine. But the day is still full of pure potential.
I pray for our once great country. I pray for you here. May God hear our prayers and heal our land.
The nearest Synagogue reaches out to the trans community on its website.
DW and I didn’t sit this one out but I am scratching my head over some pastors and churches supporting the pro-abort in this cycle. Over at Endtime Headlines dot org there are two articles of a megachurch Baptist pastor and a COGIC bishop openly and actively promoting the black(?) candidate.
After reading their reasons for supporting her, I really wonder about the condition of churches today. If there are more clergy like these two, its no wonder that there will be a major departure from churches. But I guess in a way, this is a good thing because it means that Jesus is coming back that much sooner.
Donnie Swaggart (son of Jimmy) called out black clergy and churches for supporting those godless candidates based on the color of their skin. He maintained that people should vote for candidates who most closely support godly values.
Admittedly, President Trump has his flaws but in my mind, he is far closer to godly values than even those of the clergy who support and defend those of the far-left.

YOU GO “CHURCH LADY”!!!
What an inspiration!! Of late I, too, have re-doubled my effort to obey Jesus Christ. Maybe you’ve started something and then hit the nail on the head. We must turn from our wicked ways and then pray for strength to make it to the end.
God bless you Church Lady for your honesty and courage.
AA, good, heartfelt comments. Well said.
