  1. “My father, as the one processing the paperwork, put my grandmother down as his mother and so I am illegal in this country. My parents are illegal here in this country”
Or just plain stupid, as your grandmother would be your father’s mother.

  2. That’s like that riddle where one man says to the other speaking of a third man, “Brothers and sisters have I none, but that man’s father is my father’s son.”
    Who is the the man?

  3. Everyone in Minnesota’s State, County, City and Small Town needs to be verified. Probably will find many more ILLEGALS at these various levels. Once found load them up and deport them and their families.

  4. Her ‘explanation’ makes no sense. I will certainly take her at her word that she’s an IA, but I’d like to know how that works.

My father, as the one processing the paperwork, put my grandmother down as his mother…

Your grandmother IS your father’s mother by definition. Duh. So what did you MEAN to say, eh?

  5. Was she brought here after the Vietnam war or did the family illegally enter the country? I mean if it was a paperwork issue following a war we had NO BUSINESS waging on those folks (including purposely spreading it and the bombing campaigns to Laos, etc.) then I certainly feel for her and her family. If way after the war and through completely illegal means, then no.

The son of the man talking.

  7. Lutheran Social Services brought immigrants from Laos into ND and MN in the 80s, they were very grateful, gained menial employment, and their kids went on to mostly be productive and successful. I worked with a few and they were good coworkers and friends. The Hmong, brought in a later wave and not too long before LSS went belly up, did not assimilate as well.

  8. A little late, but thanks for your honesty, I guess? Still, why would you admit this unless you WANTED to be arrested, prosecuted, and deported, and every vote you ever cast invalidated?

  9. @ MrLiberty She claims her father worked at the U.S Consulate processing paperwork for Vietnamese refugees to come here, and they managed to come, illegally, after the war ended, somehow. Probably by fudging paperwork? IDK, it’s a pretty confusing story, too me anyway. Been here almost fifty years and didn’t even attempt to make it right? Deport.
