OK, but, yeah, whatever! Orange Man baaaad.
Wa Examiner: President Trump might be right about land management and California wildfires, according to climate experts.
Scott Stephens, a University of California, Berkeley professor of fire science, said 75% of the damage from the wildfires was because of “the way we manage lands and develop our landscape.” The comments made earlier this week echo what Trump said over a year ago.
“There is no reason for these massive, deadly and costly forest fires in California except that forest management is so poor,” the president said. “Billions of dollars are given each year, with so many lives lost, all because of gross mismanagement of the forests. Remedy now, or no more Fed payments!” read more
Here’s a related bit of trivia: Australian fires in 1974-75 were NINE TIMES GREATER than this year, similarly the deaths. https://notrickszone.com/2020/01/11/forgotten-fact-1974-75-australian-bush-fires-were-more-than-9-times-greater-than-those-of-2019-20/
Every spectacular headline we read, we read in a vacuum of information. Often intentionally so.
“Remedy now, or no more Fed payments!”
Standing O!
To the left common sense is an amazing new discovery.
1. It doesn’t take a client science “expert” to figure this out. And, 2., CA is sore about the prospect of not having billions of fed dollars in their pork barrel to siphon off. Think about it: If they’ve already received billions to solve the problem, why is the problem not solved but, in fact, getting worse? 80-some people died in the Paradise fire alone.
Great, Native North Americans & Hunters have known about this for CENTURIES!
Modern university educated Environmentalists are rediscovering the wheel again. Quick another few billion dollars for research.
