Appearing today on a special edition of The Lead with Jake Tapper, Emmy award-nominated chef Padma Lakshmi stated that if you were not a feminist, in her opinion, “you are insane.”
“I don’t think you have to be a woman to be a feminist,” Lakshmi told Tapper. “I think you have to be a sane person to be a feminist.”
She then immediately reiterated her point, continuing, “I think if you’re not a feminist, I would consider you really, just, insane.”
Tapper immediately pressed Lakshmi on her point, asking if her statements were misspoken and would turn off people who disagreed with her.
Ms. Lakshmi’s comments come as over 100,000 people marched in Washington, DC, as well as other cities in the United States, to take part in the Women’s March on Washington.
According to marchers, their protests were inspired by President Trump’s statements during the 2016 Presidential campaign, as well as his election.
Not only is this woman a dumbass, she is a really intolerant dumbass.
