CNN will stop broadcasting in Russia, the news channel said on Friday, after the introduction of a new law there that could jail anyone for intentionally spreading “fake” news.

    And while they’re huffing and puffing about Putin, they should know that their hero Zelenskyyy is also pretty rough with the journos who don’t play by his rules. Right now, others are enforcing the propaganda narrative for him, so he doesn’t have to be the bad guy.

  2. I wish people here in the USA would have to suffer some consequences for knowingly spreading false news. Maybe lose their broadcasting license or pay a hefty fine. There is no honor in journalism today,few seem to care about much more than getting what they want. Tell the truth and let the chips fall where they will.

  3. You mean CNN now refuses to broadcast within the country they blamed for everything they have considered bad for the past decade? Why would anyone in Russia still be watching CNN anyway? This is like kicking out unruly guests long after they have already left.
