Providence Journal: The husband of a state representative from Johnston has been sentenced to four years in prison on credit-card and identity-theft charges, federal prosecutors in Connecticut announced Wednesday.
Henry Fellela Jr., 63, will also serve three years on supervised release after his prison time is up, said a statement from the United States Attorney for the District of Connecticut.
Fellela is the husband of Rep. Deborah A. Fellela, a Democrat from Johnston, who could not immediately be reached for comment.
Federal prosecutors say that Fellela violated the conditions of his supervised release from a prior federal conviction by stealing credit cards from Connecticut residents and using them to make approximately $48,000 in fraudulent purchases. read more
A democrat’s family member convicted of a crime and with real jail time!!! Must be a glitch in the system.
LMAO More of the usual….
Might be betr served to use the “Biden defense”
Must be a judge that didn’t get paid off yet.
“This is Fellela’s fourth federal conviction”
What’s a Fellela gotta do around here to stay in Prison?
He bet the farm and lost. Dumbass.
He was just mimicking what our government does.
Johnston is in Rhode Island, not Connecticut.
Only 4 years? After 4 convictions he should get at least 20 to life.
