PJ Media- California Assembly Bill No. 455 (AB-455) began its life as a typical bill concerning transit-only traffic lanes on the San Francisco-Oakland Bay Bridge. The bill made its way through the legislature in the usual manner, which included the appropriations committee and eventually, it was passed on the floor of the Assembly. Nothing too unusual about that, right?
This is where it gets questionable. Democrats then seized the bill, employing the much-maligned and secretive “gut-and-amend” process. And yes, it’s exactly what it sounds like. Democrats simply struck out all the bits of the approved bill pertaining to transportation and replaced them with so-called amendments “relating to COVID-19 vaccination requirements.” Here’s the new gutted and amended AB-455: read it

Another low mark for politicians. I actually hated reading this article. I did not know this level of fraudulence existed in the Assembly. Repubs probably do it too. Politicians are so low they are way less than zero.
How much lower can they go? All the way to hell, I guess. Nothing makes this acceptable.

The wild fires still burning up half the state has been pretty much not newsworthy for the rest of the nation. These fires are to Newsom what Afghanistan was to Biden, an embarrassment of inaction, neglect and obfuscation. Well over a million acres, 10 of thousands of homes and many deaths. The Caldor fire is fast approaching the states Crown Jewell, the Lake Tahoe basin. Brad is the closest but even here in the Bay Area, the air is toxic, unbreathable.
Ida is getting all the coverage but there are good people suffering here in California. Yes, it is democrat mismanagement which is to blame but this does not mitigate the pain.
