Breitbart: WASHINGTON,D.C.—Sens. John McCain (R-AZ) and Lisa Murkowski (R-AK) announced on the Senate floor Wednesday that they will not allow a filibuster of Neil Gorsuch, and will instead vote for the constitutional option to restore a simple-majority vote to confirm Supreme Court nominations, making that outcome now almost certain.
Earlier during the day Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY) claimed that he had the 50 votes he needs—plus Vice President Mike Pence as a tie-breaker, if needed—to invoke the constitutional option and confirm President Donald Trump’s first Supreme Court nominee. read more

Got the dogies in line. That is good!
Their pics makes them both look like zombie cast
members on Walking Dead.
Just get it over with and CONFIRM HIM. Stop with
the goddamn drama.
About freaking time! Is it possible their constituents dismally got their attention? Naaaa, there’s something fishy going on.
A vote he can’t refuse??
McCain and Murkowski the liberal, wealthy, screwed-up twins are my heroes.
Said no one ever.
They seem to think doing the right thing “once” should be recognized and published.
I say let’s give the dems a week to act like irrational fools. Then COMPLETELY eliminate the filibuster for ALL instances because the dems are irrational obstructionist. Repeal Obamacare the next day with 52 votes.
Mc’s face is punched so often his left cheek is permanently swollen. Needs more left-handed punches to even it out.
Just trying to help.
am I wrong but aren’t they only changing the number it takes to end discussion and bring he judge up for a vote which has always only required a simple majority ?
Both, in typical Rino fashion, when their liberal vote won’t save the liberal agenda, they go ahead and vote Republican. So when their re-election comes up, they can say, “See, see, I voted with the Republicans”, hoping no one remembers they trashed our President and fought against the nomination for 2 1/2 months.
@bill – correct. It’s the same ol smoke and mirrors lap dance. But then, that’s the Senate.
Regarding McCain,it is time for this respected Prisoner of War, the 1980″Keating affair SCANDAL”survivor, to retire as soon as possible. Yes he endured terrible punishment in Hanoi, then became a fine US Senator. But the 1980 Keating Scandal caught him red-handed.Now please retire gracefully and relax in what life you have left. Sincerely, an old war dog 1961-1964 MACV-SOG.
