They need him because he’s black – as a draw for black voters because blacks are not going to be voting for Harris in lockstep, simply because she’s a “person of color.” Some will, of course, but she’s not “authentically black.” Ignorant white women will likely show up for Harris to vote for her.

   They don’t need this “brutha” out there drawing away black votes from her. That’s what this is about. She does not have it locked-in with the traditional democrat black voter.
