Drug prices on the whole looked much better in August than they did in July, which may be due in part to President Donald Trump’s critiques of the pharmaceutical industry, according to a Wells Fargo report on monthly drug prices.
“We believe that August essentially shows that President Trump’s criticism might be working and may at least have deterred some companies from raising price in the near-term and ahead of the mid-term elections,” stated the report, which was published Wednesday.
Drug companies slashed prices on 48 drug products in August, up from 32 drug products in July, according to the report.
Many of those price cuts were substantial. The average price decrease per product was approximately 41 percent, and the median price decrease per product was approximately 39 percent.
Drug companies also hiked the prices of 60 products in August, but that compares to 110 price hikes in July. The median price hike per product was less than 10 percent, reported Axios.

Fuck the price of drugs! It’s out of control! It’s incredible for me. Then my price for medical is making me bunch up my ailments to make one “big” visit. But who knows, maybe one of those ailments will make me lucky and do me in! (OBAMACARE)

If only politicians we elect to represent us worked for us instead of the never ending childish re-election or impeachment, but, shame, not going to happen. Wish Keebler Elf boy Sessions gets some chronic pain issue and still plays his nasty uncaring righteousness .
I don’t visit doctors. Lot’s of bad experiences with my elderly parents. And me quite honestly. I’m committed to the holistic medicines. Big Pharma likes to get you hooked. A bitchen cash flow and business plan. No thanks. I lift my little weights and take my tree bark. If God wants me he knows where I’m at.
PS, there’s something to that hemp oil. Probably why they fight it so hard. I’m no fucking hippie ya understand.
@Bad_Brad, nods, glad for you taking that path! At 51 had to go in. After that went to 7 Doctors, had to build a team! That team’s answer was always a pill. Of course they never talked to each other about them. Past 2 years, gone from 11 scripts to nada. Chronic pain from nerve damage, yep. Never been a hippie as well, kind of Eric Cartman in that way, never was a saint as well. Something to that hemp oil is right, it distracts chronic pain, without the “High”. ht to you, regards. Got to the same point, he knows were I am.

Big pharmas got to hate it. I’ve been off and on taking it. But I have a friend that was taking it and after the first month started feeling dizzy and zero energy. He had hi BP. Went to the doc and his blood pressure was extremely low. Doc too him off his meds and he just does the sub linguals now. Apples Cider Vinegar, Garlic, Tribulous, DHEA, all good stuff.
I need to get back on it. Gotta a fucked up shoulder. Snapped an interior bicep tendon back in the day and elected not to go through the 14 to 16 month rehab. Doc said it would be problems later on. Only true thing a doc has ever told me.

Lucky I found a great neurologist, he reminds me of a 60’s hippy in a way, but it’s in a good way. Best and only Doctor I see now. It’s been the only thing that make me even. The cost is outrageous , yet it is the only thing I found that helps and make it management-able. Apples Cider Vinegar, Garlic, all good stuff, Good Doc! Keeps your toenails bright too! Can’t follow the smoke way due to vascular, PAD, you know..and yet politicians make this so difficult. Always glad to see you here and respect your input,,be well
I can’t count the number of my patients I’ve told to go the CBD oil route… or just flat out light up a blunt. It’s a perfectly designed God-given organic compound that treats 7 categories of symptom management, better than anything you can pick up at Walgreens. Pain, nausea, anorexia, anxiety, full blown agitation, insomnia, seizures, tremors (God help my poor Parkinson’s patients) the list goes on…
Big Pharma so tightly controls Marinol and Dronabinol they want it to look like they’re doing you a favor. Screw them. Their shit’s not even that good. Go get the oil.
