Country Songs Ruined By Gas Prices

It is not just a stereotype that country songs are all about dirt roads and trucks; many of them actually are. But thanks to the current administration, gas prices are through the roof and do not show signs of even plateauing anytime soon.

The ole squarebody that gets 12mpg is no longer your best friend… And dirt roads are about as appealing as the plague at the moment.

Any good country song makes you want to drive around dirt roads with the windows down for hours. This form of therapy, however, is becoming increasingly more expensive.

Rednecks everywhere are having increased difficulty coping with heartache. The silver lining to record high gas prices is it makes it easier to stay on your side of that county line.

This economy is especially unfortunate for the many country anthems about trucks and dirt road drives, including the ones below:

  2. I flew 120 miles on 8 gallons of gas in my Cessna 150, straight line too. $6.20/gallon at the moment in North Texas, but it’s creeping up to $8/gallon in the airports under the DFW air space. Gotta fly to the sticks to get the bargains.

Ron Paul was correct. The Fed, since its inception, has caused nothing but inflation in their stated goal of propping up the major banks during monetary crisis’s … the little taxpayers be damned.
ever since the Fed was created in 1913 … the year before The Great War (coincidence? think again) it has inflated the $ by over 400% … before the Fed money was finite. remember the runs on the banks? … doesn’t happen anymore. now, we just have never-ending wars to keep the economy ‘growing’ & the secondary benefit is that the hoi-poli get culled & the elites make more $$$
