Really?! The adoption agency had no clue this “girl” could possibly be a little person caused by some genetic defect? It seems lots of mismanagement and delusional wishful thinking applies to the agency and adoptive parents.
I guess if you can impeach a President for doing his job you can make child abuse to an adult a thing to. They should go after the agency that perpetrated the fraud.

Admittedly perverse hypothetical:
The father has sex with the adoptee. Word gets out. Does he get prosecuted for child rape because, legally, she was BELIEVED to be a child but in fact was an adult?
Alternatively…if his intent was to have sex with a child (assuming he believed her a child) does he get prosecuted on what he INTENDED to do, when he didn’t actually do what he intended but unwittingly had sex with an adult?
Asking because this would make a fascinating case of thoughtcrime.

This sort of thing has been happening for decades with children from eastern bloc countries. They have neither the resources or skill (or for that matter the desire) to care for damaged children and are always looking to adopt them out to loving but naive western parents desperate for a child. For the child it’s a chance to get out of a living hell but the problem always comes back to problems in the childs wiring whether genetic, fetal alcohol syndrome or whatever and it rarely ends well. It’s an absolute tragedy all around except maybe for the agencies that make a pretty packet selling the children.
Box her up and send her to Joey Biden. He can take out of the box each day, whiff her hair and put her back in the box. Best of all, she’s not jail bait.

Reading the synopsis of the movie “Orphan” is like reading this story twice. Very freaky…

Orphan was a freaky movie. I have a friend that adopted a Russian girl, and it worked well. Orphans in that part of the wold are considered inferior. Babies do not receive any affection and are kept in cribs without much in the way of human contact. Russia shut down US adoptions after amother placed her adoptive son on a plane back to Russia without much notice or supervision. The adoptive mother claimed the boy was psychotic which was not disclosed at the time of adoption.
A certain looney tunes short with featuring bugs bunny and a baby faced bank robber comes to mind…
But good god- if your ‘6 year old’ has pubic hair then it’s time to take this person to a doctor and get them checked out. Some blood work will tell you their real age super fast.
