Pacific Pundit: CPAC has really gone downhill over years. When you have a neocon chairman like Matt Schlapp, it’s easy to see why. Earlier today, conservative activist Laura Loomer had her press credentials stripped at CPAC in Maryland because she got into an argument with liberal CNN hack and former Glenn Beck stooge Oliver Darcy. They pulled Loomer’s press pass shortly before Trump delivered his two hour plus speech at CPAC.
Then later tonight, Schlapp decided to go on Fox News and PRAISE the communist/911 truther/cop killer supporter Van Jones. Schlapp called Van Jones a liberal “with character” while being interviewed on Judge Jeanie. I almost threw up. more
So who are the big financial supporters of CPAC today? Following the money usually tells you whose calling the shots.
The Rs will always betray you. Unless you’re a Democrat.

I’m kind of over having to constantly be put in the position of being outraged on behalf of Laura. She acts like a complete Acosta-style asshole, gets herself in trouble, then plays the Victim. Don’t we get enough of that on the Left? She’s exhausting.
If I understand it right, it was just Loomer’s press credentials that were yanked. From what I saw, she was free to pay admission to get back into CPAC like any other attendee. I don’t like it when leftie reporters harass and disrespect people. And we’d cheer if they got their press pass yanked as a result of their bad behavior (see Acosta). If Laura wants to be treated like a journalist, maybe she should stop acting like a member of Code Pink.
That said, CPAC has always had a bizzare mix of stuffy, well-I-nevernesss and the more firebrandy defiance. It makes for interesting decisions by way of guests. If I’m not mistaken, Ed Schultz also was invited several years ago. And of course Milo was invited a while back until the stuffy, well-I-nevery faction pitched a fit.
