‘Bathroom bandit’ pilfers plumbing at Ohio businesses.
COLUMBUS, Ohio (AP) — Police in Ohio’s capital are searching for a man who’s been pilfering plumbing from stores, hospitals and restaurants.
Dubbed the Bathroom Bandit, Columbus police say he enters various local establishments, visits the men’s restroom, disconnects the plumbing and leaves with the stolen parts in his backpack.
SNIP: I’m not trying to start rumors or anything, but has anyone been keeping track of Kasich lately?
Somebody told a druggie “I want a crack pipe” but it came through the fog as “I want a crap pipe”.
Setting up a micro brewery is expensive these days. I wouldn’t be drinking any home brew in Columbus anytime soon!
Must be copper plumbing. They’ve been stealing it for years over here. Houses for sale where the residents have moved and abandoned homes and buildings are the hardest hit. The funny stories are when they try to steal electrical wiring and electrocute themselves to death. Hahaha always good for a chuckle.
Reminds me of the Copper Clapper Caper –

By the way…if you connect those fittings as shown, you have a violation of the plumbing code. 🙂
Sounds like an environmentalist (you can’t spell “environmentalist” without “mental”) ..SJW on a crusade against bathrooms or something.
I agree with /notmyrealname, it’s likely the copper and brass they’re after. I’ve seen urinals and toilets in my area where the flush units have actually been chained to the walls to keep them from being stolen. Where I work, we have had a Fire Department required back-flow preventer stolen, (worth about $3000), and the wiring to our parking lot was pulled right out of the lamp posts while live with 440 volts… TWICE! We stopped that by welding the access panels shut.
