  1. I was thinking to myself that for a time capsule to be really interesting it would have to have been sealed up before I was born.

    Then I realized that this was a high school time capsule, and it had been sealed before the kids there today were born.

    I wonder what they’d make of one of mine: it would have to be from no later than May of 1949. I suppose they’d be utterly flummoxed by the idea of radio being the pinnacle of communication and entertainment technology.

    Maybe. But I’ll guarantee you there was a Frampton Comes a Live poster in there. You have no idea how many times I saw that hanging above some young girls bed. I’ll stop there.
