NBC NY: The officer’s mother says that the officer was video-chatting on a phone with his son when the three armed men jumped him.
They held him at knifepoint and stole his cellphone, according to authorities. At some point during the mugging, one of them saw his police badge and started yelling “shoot him!” in Spanish.
Mas, aqui
Cinco disparos, uh, I mean five shots…and stable condition?
WTF?
They must’ve cut the budget for range time. BTW, shouldn’t the postcard read “DA BRONX?”
They were robbing him at knife point and the guy said “Mas. Aqui.” Shoot him? when he saw the badge.

He had a firearm, and was giving up his possessions to a guy with a knife.
Weakness is a provocation.
He is lucky to be alive, but I understand why his attackers are still alive.
Mas aqui, does not mean “shoot him,” unless it’s some type of gangtsa dialect?
Seriously, tom?
Yes seriously. I don unnerstan man?
Oh dear; I hope they weren’t black. Haha, just kidding. Of course they were.
“Shoot him in Spanish”????
How about ‘kill the bastards with high powered rifles in the language they understand’??
Moe Tom, MJA was just joking putting “mas aqui” to click for more on the story. 🙂
That’s the least of Fur’s problems. I intend to sue for misappropriation of the “Greetings from……” template.
I was in a gun store yesterday and they had for sale a 30-06 that shoots in spanish!
That’s kind of like a left handed hammer.
“Mas, Aqui” is Austrian … and it means “Yo, bro, kill dis muthafuckah and get his shit!”
