Daily Beast says Laura Ingraham’s Show Already Causing Problems At Fox

DC: According to reports, Laura Ingraham’s new primetime show is already causing issues at Fox News–and it doesn’t even air for another week.

“The Ingraham Angle” will premiere in the network’s 10 PM time slot beginning October 30, but according to The Daily Beast some Fox staffers are bristling at the idea of working on Ingraham’s show.

Sources paint the picture of a “tyrant” who is notoriously difficult to work with and sometimes verbally abusive toward her staff. Two former employees of her national radio show recalled separate incidents where Ingraham threw physical objects at her employees when she was angry with them.

“Have you ever seen The Devil Wears Prada?” a former producer for the radio show said. “That’s what it’s like, except it’s The Devil Does Radio and there are no redeeming qualities with her.”

A senior official at Fox News indicated that the network’s shows are very host-driven, meaning Ingraham’s staffers would be expected to work very closely with the demanding boss. Further, Ingraham has only brought over several staffers from her radio show, requiring Fox to reassign current staffers to her show.

Three Fox sources told The Daily Beast that staffers are “praying” they don’t get put on Ingraham’s show, with one staffer describing her as a “known tyrant.”

Ingraham did not respond to The Daily Beast’s requests for comments, while Fox responded that the report is a, “a transparent, predictable and sexist attack from a left-wing website run by a CNN political analyst whose mandate it is to troll FOX News for traffic purposes on a daily basis.”  read more

  1. I believe this characterization to be true. I’ve heard it from a former employee of hers and a congressman that I trust that had her in for a campaign event. She’s not a nice person.

  2. So far the only people in this article who are “bristling” are the Fox staff. Though I could see Ingraham, as bright as she is and with so many irons in the fire, expecting the people she works with to not only keep up, but to anticipate. For people who are resting and vesting, that would be an issue.

  3. If she’s a hard ass at work, then don’t work for her. But if she’s chasing you around the desk or sexting you at home, then that’s a whole different story. LOL.
She’s going to have to get a group of people who are just like her , to get along.
I don’t care. All I ask is that she doesn’t become a Megyn or a Geraldo.

  4. I worked with several new bosses, I learned what they wanted, when they wanted it and at the quality they expected. It never took long to make adjustments. The more successful I made them, the more they relied upon me, the better the communications and relationship.
I only ad one unreasonable, arrogant boss, within two years he was working for me.

One bit of advice I received from a former boss, “Be kind and fair to people on your way up the ladder, because those will be same people you meet on the way down. Treat people the way you want to be treated.

  5. Hey FOX, I’m 76. I’ll let Laura abuse the shit out of me. I can move chairs and things and deliver papers, keep my mouth shut and learn from her. She is sharper than anything CNN,NBC,MSNBC,CBS, and the rest has to offer. Go Laura, Make TV Great Again.

  6. Cato’s advice is right, I’ll agree to that.

I had a boss once, who’s job I eventually inherited. He wisely taught me- ‘praise in public, criticize in private.’ Thanx for that, Fred.

  7. If this is the case, Laura can always work on becoming a better friendlier person… Iv’e seen people learn gratitude , and they are thrilled to use it. Not everyone came from an open – talkative and appreciative family environment , so they never learned kindness !!!

  8. “I worked for bosses who didn’t have a fucking clue. But I got the job done by ignoring them. Then they were happy. Fuckum!”

Yikes. I’ve been my own boss from age 24. Getting tired these days. I get good job offers occasionally. working 40 would feel like retirement. But after hearing all this I’ll think I’ll stay self employed.

  9. Daily Beast? Lefty site. Assigned to preemptively smear Laura to a readership that would never dream of watching FOX.

The jump from radio to TV is huge. She’s under no obligation to suffer fools, especially as Staff. Note the sources are all anonymous. Fake news, fake story.

She and Hannity will be a powerful 2 hours. She’s earned this. Good for her.
