BreitbartLondon: It wasn’t me who said this (though I kind of wish I had). It was the world’s most famous female impersonator Barry Humphries, better known as Dame Edna Everage, speaking his mind – as usual – in an interview with the Daily Telegraph.
The reason I wish I’d said it has nothing to do with any desire to offend transgender people. It does, however, have EVERYTHING to do with my desire to offend the vast and terrifying industry which has sprung up to take offence on transgendered people’s behalf. more here
Of course Brucey is but what does that say about a man(?) who makes a living as a replica of an old woman?
It was clever when she said she saw a lot of same sex couples in San Francisco and hoped someday they’d get better.
“Dame Edna” is just an actor and comedian. He just happens to get laughs while dressed as a woman. ALL actors make their money dressed up as someone else. And ALL actors put on the persona of the character they’re playing at that moment. “Dame Edna” just happens to do the female stichk all the time.
Some of the funniest memories I have are of seeing Milton Berle (Uncle Miltie) dressed as a woman. That guy could mug and take over the stage and small screen like no one else. And no one EVER doubted his masculinity.
Remember to blur photos of Mr.Pinko
Monty Python did it.
Besides I like Dame Edna Everage. Gladiolus for EVERYONE!!
He also does a hilarious role … Sir Les Patterson. Those teeth, and the spittle coming out of his mouth when he talks. It’s funny, but it’s really gross.
