  1. Clearly there were the 21, and then there were the many that did not quite have the balls. That’s OK. I’m totally diggen the way this is turning out. Lot’s more good stuff happening. I’m thinking Gorka might be right. This is like the first Continental Congress.
Biggest hit of the day, Jordan’s been appointed head of the Church Style investigative branch of the DOJ and FBI. Mans on a mission.

  2. Granted Kevin McCarthy is now the Speaker, but it would really be a shame if a year or two out he’s getting credit for being a kickass Speaker when the reality is that a small group of Patriots made the difference.

  3. Some people just crack under a little bit of pressure.
It’s good they’re passionate, but their instinctive responses are wrong.
And that’s why you can’t trust them.

  4. Not to defend Mike Rogers, but that wasn’t what I’d call a lunge. In my time, I’ve leaned in toward people and squared off toward people, but if I lunge toward you, you’re going to know the difference. Maybe Congress has different interpretations of such things. As for me, well, I guess my lunging days are mostly behind me, I think. There might be a lunge or two left in me. IDK!

  6. A true win will be if they are defeated November, 2024. I guess though still not an all out win, as we will get to continue paying their retirement for the rest of their lives and they get to leave with their millions.

  7. Knew a guy who was a Tea Party candidate years ago. Got to DC and became a Republicrat. When asked why, he responded that regular people didn’t understand how it worked in Washington. Reminds me of Eyepatch. Money / Power is tempting to weak people. They all feed from the same trough.

  8. Uh, you might want to check that Mike Rogers story. Here is what he posted 9hrs ago

I am deeply honored to be the first Congressman from the state of Alabama to serve as Chairman of the House Armed Services Committee. Our nation faces unprecedented threats, and I am ready to work to ensure our armed forces remain the greatest force in the world.

  9. Less than 12 hours after saying he would step down from a powerful House committee, U.S. Rep. Mike Rogers said Monday night he would not resign from the panel.

Rogers, chairman of the House Armed Services Committee, said leadership from both sides of the aisle urged him to stay on the House Steering Committee.
