President Joe Biden finally did it. The lackluster leader’s approval rating has fallen below every president of the modern era at this stage of their term.
Citing approval polling dating back to Harry S. Truman in 1945, FiveThirtyEight said that no president has been below, or even equal to, Biden’s average of 40.9% on Day 490 of their presidency.
Former Presidents Donald Trump, Bill Clinton, and Gerald Ford had lower average approval ratings at some stage early in their presidencies, but Biden has caught up, and today’s average was the first for which he was below all presidents since Truman, a potentially troubling trend as Democrats ready for the midterm elections.
Also today, Reuters pollster Ipsos pegged Biden’s approval rating at just 36%, his worst yet.
“Only 10% of Republicans and 28% of independents approve of President Biden, while 72% of Democrats still do. However, among Democrats Biden has seen a 10 point drop from two weeks ago when 82% approved of him, a driving factor for his lower overall approval rating,” said the Ipsos analysis.
Likely driving voters away from Biden is his inaction on inflation, high gas prices, and the crashing stock market. more

Finally below 39%. Been reading since Jan-Feb that it’s the worst ever at 39%; then I read a few weeks ever it’s the worst ever at 41%; then 43%, then 40%, then 41% (all of them coined the worst ever).
We all know it’s actually sub-30%. Hell, if lofo dims had any desire to actually spend 5 minutes to learn something truthful about Slo Joe, it’d easily be sub-20%.
I’ve been way ahead of the curve, I’ve never approved of that asshole at any time.
If I were a Democrat, I would be concerned by the fact that the second lowest polling President, Donald Trump, was the subject of attacks by the MSM, Hollywood, late night talking heads, cable networks, social media companies and Democrats/progressives during his entire presidency. Biden, on the other hand, has been protected by these same people during his year and one-half in office, as well as his staffers who limit access to Joey and tell us “what Joe really meant.” Despite this favorable treatment, Biden is still polling lower than anyone else.
I think that fortunately Putin believes Biden is a demented fool, and that is why Biden has been unable to engage the US in a shooting war despite his many bellicose statements and stupid statements. I also believe that other foreign leaders believe the same as evidenced by the fact that many of them won’t take his calls.
At some point, Americans have to take a page out of Charles Barkley’s playbook and call ’em like we see ’em. And that means admitting President Joe Biden is a tasteless joke.
