  1. @Jethro — Heh! That’s near my middle age stompin’ grounds. Back around 1990 I lived less than a mile from Tuckerman Lane and Seven Locks. (Our house was on Windermere Circle in N. Bethesda.)

I wonder if ol’ Leon was shopping at the county liquor store right there…

  2. Uncle Al – I was long gone by the 90s.
But….I ate at the Far East restaurant in that shopping center many times in the 90s and 2000s. My in-laws lived nearby and we would meet them there for dinner. I also took my family to skate at the ice rink at Cabin John Park.
I grew up down by Great Falls. My great uncle owned the general store which later became Old Angler’s Inn. My grandfather and other great uncle worked in the gold mine at the corner of Falls Rd and McArthur Blvd.
200+ years of history in that area…until the rich libtards chased us out!
