JTN:
D.C. Metropolitan Police Chief Robert Contee III is retiring after 33 years with the department to become an assistant director at the FBI.
His last day on the force will be June 3, he said Wednesday.
“I want to congratulate Chief Contee on his retirement and thank him for his service to DC — for leading MPD with passion and purpose,” D.C. Mayor Muriel Bowser said. “He has pushed our criminal justice system to do more and be better.”
Contee was sworn in as chief at the start of January 2021, and crime has risen dramatically during that time. He took over just after the Jan. 6 Capitol riots. MORE
Don’t tell me, a black dude affirmative action hire, not qualified to do security work at Piggly-Wiggly.
@Rich Taylor — You got it. But he IS qualified to do security work at any San Francisco retailer. But then again, so is a dead mackerel.
Pittsburgh’s police chief did the say after anqueefa tried to burn the city a couple of years ago – kneeling with black terrorists don’t matter & anqueefers & now a feeb!
The incompetent moving up? Not really, the FBI is a joke now
Skin color uber alles.
Obedience, not competence gets rewarded.
Pay back for a “job well done”. The left always rewards its own.
I was under the impression the maximum age was 37 unless you were already in the US Government system.
@Tsquared — The article says he’s going to be an “assistant director” which is likely to be Senior Executive Service. I don’t think any age limits apply when you’re that deeply embedded in (and indebted to) TPTB.
fbi is emulating the guy who wore a tuxedo to a vasectomy appointment because he heard – “you want to be impotent, you gotta look impotent!”
@ Uncle Al
I bet you a dozen doughnuts a dead mackerel on top of a flat screen TV would prevent more shoplifting than this AA parasite.
