American Mirror: Michigan Congresswoman Debbie Dingell wouldn’t talk about her party leaders during an appearance on CNN today.
Dingell, a rare Democrat who predicted Donald Trump would win Michigan last fall, awkwardly said she wouldn’t talk about Nancy Pelosi and Chuck Schumer and instead she wants to “focus on the issues.”
Dingell refused to say if new party leadership is needed.
“Why are we having this discussion? I represent my district and in my district, it’s my name that’s on that bumper sticker,” she said.
When host Poppy Harlow pushed back and said Pelosi and Schumer are the faces of the party and are involved in fundraising and decision-making, Dingell still refused to talk about them. more here
Discussing Pelosi and Schumer would be a loser for her whether she was positive or negative about them. Perhaps Dingell accidentally made the right choice.
Debbie does Michigan. She is married to John Dingle, now 90 years old, who served himself in Congress from December 13, 1955, until January 3, 2015. She is in her early 60’s, married Dingle in ’81. Represents Ann Arbor – University of Michigan – sheesh!
