Debunking Hillary Clinton’s 17 Intelligence Agencies Claim Once And For All

DC: Hillary Clinton proffered the idea that 17 intelligence agencies all agreed that Russia had meddled in the 2016 election to ensure she wasn’t elected, but it’s not true.

Clinton’s claim references the 2017 National Intelligence report that claimed with “high confidence” that Russia had meddled in the election. There’s only one problem: The report was compiled by three agencies, not 17. Only the CIA, FBI, and NSA worked to compile the report. The Daily Caller News Foundation fact checked this claim nine months ago, but the mainstream media has continued pushing it.

Most recently, CNN’s Jim Sciutto made the claim in mid February. The likely reason they’re so interested in pushing the claim is because 17 intelligence agencies sounds much more impressive and daunting than three or four. There’s no evidence indicating that Russia’s efforts had any effect on the outcome of the election.

In fact, Russia’s stated goal in meddling was not to impact the outcome, but to weaken the American public’s trust in the government, a goal the mainstream media seems to share.  MORE

  1. Given that the CIA, FBI, and NSA compiled the report and only one of the three of the agencies has any credibility; If I were a pathological lying bitch, I too would say 17 agencies just to add to its false veracity.

So, “and” is one of the “three letter agencies”?

  3. Well… there WERE 17… but the other 14 died of suicide. They shot themselves in the back of the head, wrapped themselves up in a rug, and deposited themselves at two DIFFERENT locations in the park… 😳

Yes, and the only one with any credibility left. 😉

  5. If the claims of these agencies are true, why hasn’t the media offered us a complete, unedited explanation of where, when, how and why the Russians interfered with our election?

If you studied the history of the United States of the mid-twentieth century, you would have read about the Case of Alger Hiss. Hiss was a former official in the Roosevelt administration ( FDR ) and was found to have been working for the Soviet Union as an agent of theirs. Whittaker Chambers was the ex-cpusa member who disclosed that Hiss was working for the Soviets and then congressman Richard Nixon who discovered the evidence that showed Hiss was working with the Soviets.

The evidence that Nixon found was several rolls of microfilm that Hiss had left in a hollowed out pumpkin at the edge of a farm in Bethesda, Maryland ( as I recall ). This was what was used to show that Hiss was an agent of the Soviets. Can we have a similar demonstration of how the Soviets influenced our election?
