Democrats invoked the words of legal analyst Jonathan Turley in their opening statement on the second impeachment of President Donald J. Trump. The only problem? Turley says they’ve misrepresented him as a result of a falsehood perpetuated (and uncorrected) during a CNN interview.
Rep. Neguse (D-CO) – one of the Democrat impeachment managers – leant on a 21-year-old case made by Turley advocating for the post-presidential impeachment of Donald Trump.
Turley’s work on this matter, they claim, is key. But Turley himself says they got it wrong.

CNN deals in fairytales in that facts. Impeachment is supposed to be based on the constitution, not a TV show.
Democrats never learn about actions causing reactions, the boomerang effect, or the law of unintended consequences. When the Republicans regain the House Pelosi could find herself being frivolously impeached the rest of her life.
The Democrat party and its adherents are just Antifa/BLM/Occupy in suits and with better retirement plans, SS protection, and with cars and drivers instead of busses.

That’s true, but I think the point of the show is to make their -the4 Democrats- positions known, accepted, and popular among the majority of the American people.
Which they may be doing, the only two polls I’ve seen sp far reported about it show 56% and 52% of Americans in favor of convicting Trump.
It really doesn’t matter what the law says. This is a Stalin-esque show trial with a predetermined outcome. Trump will be declared guilty and then the DoJ will push for a criminal prosecution. Again, facts and law simply do not matter now.
I don’t believe they are under oath there for can distort, and lie to their “just” ends.

All I remember Trump saying is “Be Strong”. I never heard Trump tell people to invade congress, break windows, and threaten congress-critters.
