Rep. Tulsi Gabbard (D-HA) and Rep. Markwayne Mullin (R-OK) have introduced bipartisan legislation that would effectively ban “biological” boys (please; boys are boys, girls are girls) from competing in girls’ sports, regardless of their so-called “transgender status.”
(The notion of the need for legislation to keep boys off girls’ sports teams is a sad commentary on today’s America, is it not?)
As reported by Sports Illustrated on Thursday, the “Protect Women’s Sports Act” specifies that Title IX must be applied solely on the basis of a person’s biological sex. more
She is also trying to protect abortion survivors. One has to ask, why she sticks around with the Dems.

If Tulsi Gabbard could somehow be nominated for Speaker of the House, would enough GOP and mythical moderate Dems support her? I just don’t see 20 Dems crossing the aisle to vote for an all-talk-no-do Republican like McCarthy.

Tulsi sees the large following that Trump has assembled and wants to tap into that. She is leftist but is positioning herself to exploit the dis-effected voters from this last election. She’s making herself sound rational in comparison to the others in her party but it’s a cynical political move.

Classify sports events with XX and XY teams instead of male and female ones.
As much as I would like to see this happen, I don’t believe this is a federal government issue. Perhaps more of the individual sports governing bodies issue.
She is out of congress in January and has moved to California. Will be active in the Army in the near future but long-term she aint said.
