Florida Governor Ron DeSantis has announced his state will launch its very own investigation into the assassination attempt against Donald Trump at his s West Palm Beach golf club in order to stop a repeat of cover-ups in the wake of the last attempt on the former president’s life.
On Sunday, a potential sniper attack targeting Trump was thwarted by Secret Service agents as he enjoyed a round of golf at his International Golf Club.
A man wielding an AK-47-style rifle was spotted from a distance of 300 to 500 yards from where Trump was.
The suspect fled the scene after Secret Service agents returned fire.
The suspect has been identified as 58-year-old Ryan Wesley Routh, who has been apprehended on I-95 in Martin County after a witness captured a photo of his vehicle, Palm Beach County Sheriff Ric Bradshaw said. more here
DeSantis is a real mensch about this, especially given what a shit Trump has been to him in the past.
The would-be shooter had multiple felony convictions, and yet somehow managed to acquire a firearm and apparently voted in North Carolina and Hawaii. Gee, how did that happen?

The round of golf was a last minute decision. The shooter was within the perimeter of the club. I think there’s a high probability there’s a 14 foot steel fence around the property with sensors embedded in the fence. As usual, something doesn’t add up. Good for DeSantis.

Totally agree, Dadof4. The framework of a Constitutional Republic is individualism, self determination and governance. The State, and all its corrupt socialist agencies and institutions can’t tolerate it, because they have no control under those circumstances.
The only choice is to come against those upholding the freedoms and liberties represented by the Republic.
