Devin Nunes vows to expand lawsuit against Fusion GPS after judge’s dismissal

WAEx:Rep. Devin Nunes vowed to expand his lawsuit against Fusion GPS on Saturday, a day after a federal court dismissed the California Republican’s racketeering conspiracy case against the opposition research firm.

The judge gave the ranking member on the House Intelligence Committee 30 days to file another amended complaint.

“Congressman Nunes is pleased that the Court has granted him the opportunity to clarify and amplify the long history and pattern of obstruction by Fusion GPS,” Nunes’s lawyer Steven Biss told the Washington Examiner. “We have plenty of supplementary evidence to add to our filing, including ongoing examples of Fusion’s malfeasance.”

Last September, Nunes filed his lawsuit against Fusion GPS, its founder Glenn Simpson, and the left-leaning watchdog group Campaign for Accountability, seeking $9.9 million in damages. read more

  1. In focus are four key members of Congress. Three were Republicans: Representative Thaddeus Stevens of Pennsylvania and Senator Ben Wade of Ohio, both called Radicals, and Senator William Fessenden of Maine, who was more cautious. The fourth was Clement Vallandigham, a Democrat from Ohio with Southern sympathies.

  2. Did the judge confine them to just the nefarious cases in the US? Because if he didn’t, Nunes is gonna need longer than 30 days. Fusion GPS has tentacles in foreign cases as well, Venezuela for starters.

  3. Why isn’t the gov’t going after Fusion GPS?
    The dog that didn’t bark?

Why hasn’t the FBI investigated Fusion GPS?
Hmmm … seems like Treason would be on their radar.

Funny how a Conspiracy to Commit Treason and an obvious RICO violation are shoved into the civil courts, isn’t it?

WTF are we paying all these maggots in all these Agencies to do, exactly?
Play with their dicks while watching porn at $135/hr?
    Shopping for shoes?
Makes a certain amount of sense with Prison Guards on the Midnight Shift – but fuckin LAWYERS?

If they’re not going to do what they’re paid to do, we should (in a sane world) get rid of them (fire, not terminate).

    izlamo delenda est …
