AmericanMirror: An eagle-eyed CNN viewer is claiming the third-place cable news network aired fake footage from a popular video game during a report on alleged Russian hacking.
CNN broadcast the report and featured video of it — complete with a still image of the code — on its website:
It only lasted about two seconds, but a Reddit user says the footage of the archaic screen with code is actually from a video game called “Fallout 4.” MORE
Well it does say NGIER which proves Russia is racist.
Meh, stock footage. Was it expected actual Russian hacking codes would be displayed?
The 1980’s called, and they want their sinister computer screen trope back.
They don’t call themselves fake news for nothing.
It IS from fall out 4, the numbers are exactly the same if you pause the game at a certain point. Wouldn’t be the first time that CNN faked something.
Since when does anyone at CNN know how to play a video game? That takes some smarts to do.
