Just The News-
Anew report claims the Walt Disney Company is pushing “critical race theory” on its employees as part of an internal training program, teaching them “race consciousness” and other concepts to address “systemic racism” in the U.S.
Manhattan Institute fellow Christopher Rufo on Friday published what he says are a “trove of whistleblower documents” detailing a program titled “Reimagine Tomorrow.”
Rudo also provides in his report what he says are primary-source documents that appear to be pages of a training manual.
“In the past year, Disney executives have elevated the ideology of critical race theory into a new corporate dogma, bombarded employees with trainings on ‘systemic racism,’ ‘white privilege,’ ‘white fragility,’ and ‘white saviors,’ and launched racially segregated ‘affinity groups’ at the company’s headquarters,” Rudo writes.
The documents, which are stamped with the Disney insignia, instruct viewers in tips on “becoming an ally” to black acquaintances, calling anti-racism education “an ongoing learning journey.” more
Gee all those white families that spend their savings on Disney visits may take their privilege elsewhere and save thousands having fun in the process
Disney’s been on the dark side of things from the beginning, slowly and progressively moving our thinking and acceptance toward evil in a way that most of us never noticed before it happened.
You know you’ve failed in life if working at Disneyland is the only job you can find.
This is what Jackass Joe’s “Unity” looks like!!
(To the tune of “Let It Go”)
“The privilege ain’t White on Space Mountain tonight
Not a honkey to be seen
A kingdom of woke idealouges
And they want men to be queens
The Left is howling like some spoiled demon inside
Couldn’t keep it straight, heaven knows I’ve tried
Wont’t let sense in, won’t let you be
Make the boys be girls, they have to be
Not real, just feel, don’t let truth show
Well, now truth shows
Let it go, let it go
Slavery was long ago
Let it go, let it go
Your outrage is just for show
I don’t care what lies they to say
Let BLM rage on
I won’t buy your tickets anyway
It’s funny how the fake news makes Disney seem so small
And the fears they use to control me can’t get to me at all
It’s time to see what I can do
To bankrupt them by not passing through
I’m right, they’re wrong, no queue for me
I’m free
Let it go, let it go
We done fought the Civil War
Let it go, let it go
Ask what Disney wants race hate for
Make a stand with no Disney stay
Let their lies rage on
They preach to their own choir anyway”
Having worked there for 20 plus years I can definitely the corporate culture changed with the gay marriage issue. Prior to this there only subtle political messaging beyond the usual “diversity is our strength” crap.
The activism was unleashed after the entire Prop. 8 issue and the Obama administration support of gay marriage. Afterwards Disney formed panels highlighting gay executives, products with the rainbow theme began appearing plus employees openly displayed their support for “The Cause”.
It only escalated from there to open, more aggressive support for climate change, liberal politicians and SJW politics. As a conservative, I listened to Obama worship, nauseating Palin bashing and which SJW marches the employees were marching in that weekend. Everyone assumed we all shared the same mindset. Not one employee I knew openly countered the message, in corporate you dare not express opinions counter to the establishment. In our department of over 100 employees, I knew of only one other person whom I could speak with on conservative issues. Sometimes we even had to whisper as we passed in the hallways so as not to be heard by the cube critters.
Fortunately I retired before the CRT and BLM movements were brought into the workplace.
One quick observation regarding The Parks: Corporate and Parks are two different worlds inside Disney. Parks are operational and have to meet deadlines, maintenance schedules, revenue targets etc. on a daily basis. They are on the front lines as a consumer facing division. They tend to be more conservative at Parks with a large contingent of Veteran employees needed to maintain infrastructure and maintain the rides.
As for me, I am glad I was there prior to the nonsense – it was truly a fun ride in the early years.
Disney has always been dark, prime examples are the end of Fantasia and the wicked witch in Snow White and Cruella Deville in 101 Dalmations and countless other examples including the banshees in Darby O’Gill and the Little People. And my brother freaking out over the talking trees in Babes In Toyland when he was a little kid. And then there’s always Old Yeller and Bambi which freaked out a lot of dumbass baby boomers. And some of their early Mickey Mouse cartoons were scary as well.
Disney Cast Member MAY 9, 2021 AT 10:54 AM ….When I was a kid Disney and Disneyland were magical. People calling Disney “dark” are full of crap. Disney brought us Daniel Boone, Davy Crockett, the space program, Dumbo, Donald Duck, Goofy and so many others that brought laughter and joy to millions. Unfortunately the greed and lecturing crowd took over and destroyed Walts’ dream.
