Dan Bongino:
Liberal tech giant Google has been collecting and analyzing the private health data of millions of Americans as part of its secretive project code-named “Nightingale.”
According to the Epoch Times, Google collaborated with the non-profit health company, Ascension, last year and the data sharing has “accelerated” since this past summer. read more
Hey, wake up! Everybody with an internet connection has access to your health data. There are no secrets anymore.
Do You Know Who Has Access To Your Health Data?
Everybody but me, it seems.
All because of all those cute lil ‘health’ apps. The apps that track your periods, your pregnancy, your STD status, how often you exercise…
Good LUCK finding mine – I don’t go to doctors!
A.k.a. – $15/hr Der Kommissar ObamassarKare subcontractors!
FUDGE ‘EM! 😡
Health apps? I thought this was about insurance companies and health care providers. I’m really fed up, and I know I’m not alone. The only reason I’m paying for health insurance now is just in case I’m in an accident and I’m unconscious so I can’t refuse treatment. Last thing I want is 6 months in ICU before I kick the bucket and wipe out our savings.
that hppa sheet you sign at the Drs office is a farce. Anyone working there or at a hosp can access your personal info. One would expect at least modicum of security but no.
I think we old farts will be safer in the future because we didn’t fall into the tech trap. Yeah, our health records may be vulnerable, (Medicare knows all anyway) but we aren’t giving access to big tech through Google, Amazon, Ring, etc. by allowing them into our days. Set your alarm? Lower your thermostat? Set a date? Lock your doors? No way in hell!
I actually do use a health app, and I already figured that my data would be shared… I just didn’t think that they would be so frickin bold about it. For fucks sake, have some shame!
If you like your health data, so does someone else!
I have always been a very private person. I don’t share much of anything with anyone unless I have established a period to trust that person.
When all of the various special apps that track your steps, sleep, etc. hit the market, I was immediately suspicious.
Also, I would never submit for sheer curiosity to something like Ancestry.com or such programs. Just gave me the creeps to imagine it.
Feed them a fountain of false or useless data
Skip apps. Our health care data is already compromised – don’t make it easier by using Big Brother tech as a physician assistant or personal manager.
big brother is watching
They are buying Fitbit.
I’ve logged thousands of Fitbit miles. I prefer Fitbit to Apple Watch.
I don’t have and won’t buy any kind of electronic snoop device with the possible exception of my cell phone. I don’t trust them as I fully expect them to full go full HAL 9000 on me and tell me I’m being exterminated for the good of the Borg because I violated some chicken shit politically correct rule.
