NYP: MANKATO, Minn. — One dog apparently has learned a new trick: how to drive a semi-truck.
Customers at a Minnesota gas station saw a golden Labrador retriever appear to drive the semi across a road Friday.
Mankato police say the idling truck apparently was put into gear, then went through a parking lot, – more
I wonder if he will be an entry in Dog Shaming. 😀
Doggone it! I’m gonna have to get that dog to teach me that! I may need a job after this VP gig’s up – and Hell, if a dog can do, I should be able to!
Actually, I can’t lick my own balls … I tried it and fell off the toilet …
…Dawg releases the the trailer brakes, then the tractor brakes, then manages to slap the shifter into gear without killing the engine.
Hmmmm…..

I hope the Ingalls weren’t hurt.
I’m calling bullshit. Both the cab & trailer air brakes would have to be released and it would have to be put into gear at the proper shift gate in a proper gear not to kill it. Some idiot didn’t engage his air brakes fully (or at all) when he left the cab with it running, & decided to blame it on the dog instead of taking the points on his CDL.
Have to agree this is not likely all of the story. The red and yellow dash buttons are not that easy to push in, and force would be required to engage the transmission without using the clutch.
