Do they really think she will just back off? They do realize that, if they sue her, that gives her one more venue to present her evidence. Maybe they assume that with the pile of chicken manure in the Supreme Court that she will lose in the end. Even if that is the case, they will lose the big picture. Unless gags orders are put in place the entire time.
On second thought, that may be their game plan. However, if it is the game plan, then the gloves will come off.

Personalities aside, the cease and desist and retraction demand type of letters are the normal procedural first step in filing a suit.
Lets see if she stands down or not and if they pursue the matter in court if she doesn’t. It can get pretty expensive and I imagine they have more money than she does.

This seems like an empty threat for the benefit of our brain dead and/or corrupt media for two reasons. First, the conduct which forms the basis of the alleged defamation becomes an issue, and I doubt Dominion wants to litigate its voter fraud in civil court. But just as important, most jurisdictions have immunity pertaining to statements made in the context of litigation – you generally cannot be sued for defamation for things said in litigation matters.
Done only so media can report it and insinuate wrongdoing by Powell and provide fodder for Twitter trolls.
I know some didn’t like Lin Wood saying Republicans should boycott the two Republican Senators. However, it really looks like it isn’t going to matter, the chosen one or ones will be selected. My best guess is the deal the uniparty has made is the rich woman will win and the white guy will lose.
