RIP, Mr. Everly. Thank you and your brother for enriching my life with your music. I’m 72 now but I still find myself humming one of your songs from time to time.
Another one bites the dust, no wait, not only is that disrespectful, it’s the wrong band.
RIP Don Everly, heaven is rocking with the reunited Everly Brothers.
I found a lesser known song, but a real toe-tapper. Enjoy

Tom T Hall died Friday
Damn JD, who’s next, Mick Jagger?
REMEMBER THIS TONIGHT:
DON EVERLY IS DEAD AT 72
AFGHANISTAN IS NOW A GOAT FUCK ON STEROIDS
OUR SOUTHERN BORDER IS WIDE OPEN
AND OUR DEMENTED “POTUS” IS GETTING HIS BADLY NEEDED SLEEP
THINK ABOUT THAT
GOODNIGHT FROM BENITO
Coincidently, I was just watching some older country music videos and interviews yesterday when a friend called and told me. A couple of them I had just watched were with Tom T Hall
We gotta go home.
Unchained Melody / You Lost That Loving Feeling
That’s the Righteous Brothers.
I knew of the Everly Brothers. But honestly FuR posted something that made me re-examine. He was right, best Harmonies ever.
How good is this? It’s on both my boys playlists

The Louvin Brothers were awfully good at close harmony as well
They were some of the greatest influencers in rock music.
Ask Paul Simon and Paul McCartney for starts.
RIP, they are in heaven together again. Immortally.
Who’s next, it sure as heck won’t be either Keith Richards or Ozzy Osbourne, they both have enough preservatives in them to live forever as zombies. Hey, Bird Dog is a great song by the the Everly Brothers as well as Wake Up Little Suzie and Crying In The Rain, both great songs. They just don’t make great musicians like them anymore which is a shame.
RIP
RIP Don Everly. 🙁
There’s a cool Tribute band called the Neverly Brothers. If they swing by your area check them out. They’re really good.
Rest in peace Don Everly. In the mid-60s I saw him at the Miracle Mart at Jane St. and Wilson Ave. They were playing the Beverly Hills Hotel nearby. They always closed with this one, forever my favourite.

Not one of their 60’s hits, think I read that Knopfler wrote this for Everlys.
You can’t get any better than Chet Atkins, Mark Knopfler and the Everly Brothers playing together like that. Wow, I’d never heard that before, good stuff Maynard. Why Worry indeed is a great song that never got much recognition like a lot of the Everly Brothers earlier music.
