It’s off-topic, and my apologies. I’m taking my 19-year-old autistic grandson to vote tomorrow. He, his parents and my husband and I had a great dinner-table discussion this evening about the upcoming election. When he asked me to take him to vote tomorrow, I was so, so proud and wanted to share. His parents are former libs who have seen the light. Pleasant dreams, my friends!

@MJA: People started calling Ukraine “The Ukraine” when it was actually a part of Russia (the word meant “borderland”). Once it was declared an independent country in 1991, its official name became simply “Ukraine”.
