He is awesome
Wonder what KWS will sound like at 80
I’m also a big time BB King fan. First time I saw him live was at the Cabooze in Mpls, mid 70’s. We had such a good we went back the next two nights. One of my favorite scenes in the Blues Brothers was John Lee Hooker. Tough to beat the blues.
Frank, Kenny Wayne Shepard? I don’t know, I already like him.
DMF posts great musac every Friday Night. Offered up by a guy, “Blues Junkie”. I think there’s a good possibility he posts here under another name. That doesn’t matter. He’s rekindled my interest in Blues/Rock. You should check it out.
Seen BB and John Lee Hooker, Muddy Waters several times.
Wow, No body better than Robert Cray. I have everything he’s ever recorded.
So I’ll throw this out, two of the best Blues Guitarists ever, Jimmi Hendrix, Robin Trower.
Saw BB King in Lake Tahoe, saw John Lee Hooker at the Rheem Theater, Eta James in San Francisco, the blues great at the Monterey Blues Festival, the Blues are my all time favorite music. My kids are now into the blues! Slim Harpo is one of the greatest harpists, ain’t nothing like the blues baby! The blues makes me feel good! 🙂

We saw Robert Cray at the Monterey blues festival. Back when I was young and pretty. Back then nobody knew him or knew what to expect. There was a very uncomfortable silence after his first song, Smoking Gun. And then every one exploded in applause. A great artist. His shit booms in my back yard 5 nights out of the week.
There were giants in those days
I am a big fan of B.B. King and his music.
Lucille never sounded better. I’m big B.B. King fan. A bigger John Lee Hooker fan. But I love all the blues.
Wow these guys were good.
