Something/somebody is missing. Kind of like Lynyrd Skynyrd after the plane crash. Still good music, but……

No, it couldn’t possibly be the same after Duane died. But I give Gregg a lotta credit for keeping the band together. And I picked that particular video because it showcases a very young Warren Haynes and Allen Woody, who would go on to form Gov’t Mule, with Matt Abts on drums, 3 years later. (btw, RIP, Woody)
Nobody is ever gonna take the place of Sky Dog, but Warren became a premier guitar player in his own right. Gov’t Mule is probably my favorite band currently performing, and I believe Duane Allman’s spirit flows through Warren’s guitar.
