JustTheNews: The doctor coordinating the White House Coronavirus Task Force says she believes it will be safe for voters to go to the polls in November.
“Well, I can tell you it has been safe for me to go to Starbucks and pick up my order,” Dr. Deborah Birx told Just The News in an interview when asked about in-person voting.
Birx has been traveling the country by car and one of her practices is to visit as many Starbucks as she can in an attempt to gauge whether people are wearing masks and socially distancing. She said her coffee experiences in states that have higher than normal COVID-19 cases, has led her to a conclusion about voting. more
Ever see the line ups at a Starbucks & the endless special requests?!?
As a coffee lover I’ll be happy to travel the country sampling to verify her findings! I just want to help!
@Kcir – nah, they all use the app now so they just walk in and grab their already-prepared drink.
Hmmm, could voting be an app???
(Answer: no.)
Won’t venture into a Starbucks ever again, management refused to service police officers in uniform. It’s personal.
They need real doctors who see patients. not some lab rats who play with numbers all day and. are invested in various Big Pharma companies. R soles one and all.
You know my Doctor, Dr. Vinnie Boombatz,,,

The only one I trust right now.
Just left a Walmart near Texas State and the back to college shopping is insane. If we can cram hundreds into a Walmart we can vote in person.
Excellent argument…
The last time I went out (a few days ago to an appointment) the lines for Starbucks, Chick fil A, In and Out (all of the popular chains), had annoyingly long lines.
If people can head out to get their munchies and their coffee, they can head out and vote for five minutes.
Compared to Starbucks, voting will be easier. First, an ordinary ballot won’t cost $5, but mainly the polling places won’t stink of over-roasted El Cheapo coffee beans.
…funny thing…I was at a family memorial service tonight and got to talking to a family member who got her LPN in the ’70s and was nursing when AIDS became a thing in the ’80s, same time I started running Squad with AIDS patients. We got to talking about the COVID and about how the hysteria and misinformation was very, very similar at first, even rumors that it could be transmitted by sweat or sneeze, and this was largely fueled by an alarmist in the CDC, an NIH doctor there, a guy by the name of Anthony Fauci.

…yep, THAT Anthony Fauci.
Same alarmist way of making a name for himself, same hyping of a disease for political reasons, and like the devil he serves, the same bag of tricks on a different generation.
Plus ça change, plus c’est la même chose.
…he’s been around for a long, long time.
…and caused nothing but trouble for ALL of it…
So this gal is on a road trip while she has us all locked down in our houses, man would I love to run into her on the road.
What a lying bitch she is. And we are paying for her vacation while we sit at home.
I would flatten her tires and pour sugar in her gas tank and make her eat a mask.
What a shit she is. We need to find out where she is traveling to.
I’ve always found voting to be a lot easier than trying to down a cup Starbucks coffee.
However, maybe what I really like is cream and sugar with a little coffee added. Coffee strong enough to float an iron wedge isn’t the kind of coffee I yearn for.
