El Salvador President Nayib Bukele to Trump: ‘We’re Very Eager to Help’ with Border Problem

Breitbart:
El Salvador is “very eager to help” with the crime and terrorism problem connected to the southern border, El Salvador President Nayib Bukele said during a meeting with President Donald Trump on Monday.

“But I want to thank you for the great job you’re doing. I appreciate it,” Trump said.

Bukele, in turn, said it was an honor to be there with the President and leader of the free world, continuing, “We’re very happy, and we’re very eager to help.”

“We know that you have a crime problem and a terrorism problem that you need help with, and we’re a small country, but if we can help, we will do it,” he said. more here

  1. Just more power the government is taking for itself. The Patriot Act on steroids. Trump isn’t even going to Congress or considering the courts. I know everyone here thinks he’s a hero, but this is dangerous.

So, if the person’s affected are all under standing deportation orders, and have other convictions, how is this dangerous? They’ve already had their day in court. several of them in fact.

My concern has less to do with those being deported and more to do with our criminal justice system. I’m not sure if this article covers it, but Trump made some disturbing comments during his meeting with El Salvador’s president, even hinting at the idea of sending US citizens to prison there. this is just too convenient for a government to railroad someone through trial and then send them out of the country and out of the judicial systems jurisdiction.

  4. US taxpayer funding well spent. Deportation of the worst of the worst illegals to another country willing to permanently incarcerate them. El Salvador’s president is a shrewd man.

  5. Bukele sure solved the crime problem. I wonder if he has a very long term rehab plan for those barbaric gangsters? I can’t see how things there can continue there for the long term (that is the aging prisoners) with those claustrophbic cells. Maybe he’ll ship them to Gaza for beheading.
