NYP: In response to claims by Kilmar Abrego Garcia that he was beaten, starved, and tortured after being sent to a prison in El Salvador, President Nayib Bukele released photos and video refuting his claims. The images show Abrego Garcia enjoying entertainment time, receiving routine health checks, and partaking in recreational activities.
All liars should be subject to the actual mistreatments they claim so they won’t be liars before the Lord. It’s the least we could do.
I don’t think anyone actually believed him, they just acted as though they did for expedient political posturing and virtue signaling.
