Trump Team Wants to Present ‘Specific Evidence’ on Jan. 6: Campaign Adviser Jason Miller

President Donald Trump’s campaign adviser said the team is aiming to present evidence during a potential congressional debate on Jan. 6 if lawmakers in the House and Senate object to states’ Electoral College votes.
As of Wednesday, it appears that at least one member of the Senate, Sen. Josh Hawley (R-Mo.), and a number of House lawmakers will object to the electoral votes during the Joint Session of Congress. Hawley announced he would object to the electoral vote, pointing to previous Democratic efforts to do so during the 2004 and 2016 presidential elections. After the objection, an hours-long debate will occur.
Miller said that evidence could be presented in Congress, which would differ from what the Trump campaign presented in courts over the past several weeks. more

This is where the issue should be decided, because it is the Electoral College and Congress that have the Constitutional authority to decide the winner of the election.

OK, so Trump’s team gets 2 hours time to present their evidence to the Congress in the hopes that this will persuade them to do what exactly? To overturn the election and give it to Trump? So that the American people will know about the election fraud? They do know about it, the ones that are paying attention anyway. Is it to delay the process so that a new election can take place? Is it to spur SCOTUS into action so that they will look at the tainted votes and rule on them in the few states up fr grabs?
Sure, I will watch the proceedings, but am not expecting anything to come of it.

Yes, I can picture a scenario where ,God forbid, it does come to that, but for me, several civil liberties must be taken away for me in order to justify such extremes. If they take away your arms (which can get pretty extreme and not be limited to guns, they made colonist break the po ints off their dinner k nives once), you would just shrug and say, well, its ok since they will protect me? If they decide to quarter their Antifa shock troops in your house, well, that’s only the first three rights, there’s still seven to go, so its not time yet?

As much as I disagree with their censorious policies, they are private companies, not the US government. The 1st Amendment (the free speech part) provides citizens protections against their own government from abridging their freedom of speech.
