Wa Examiner: Conservative radio host Mark Levin told his listeners that he “won’t be looking at Facebook anymore” after repeated disputes over censorship and the limiting of reach on his page.
“I’ve had it with Facebook,” Levin said at the top of his show Monday evening. “They can do what they want. We will continue to simultaneously post so it’ll be in all three places, but I won’t be looking at Facebook anymore. If you want to make comments, you should go to Parler, or you should go to Twitter.”
“I’m not going to spend too much time on this, but I want to strongly encourage you to leave Facebook,” Levin added. “If you want to interact with us, no longer will we be interacting on Facebook. We’ll be there. But my kids are right, they’re a dinosaur. A dinosaur run by leftists and enough is enough.” more here
Same. They keep cutting us off on FB too.
Y’all are like refugees fleeing from a war in some distant shithole dictatorship I’ve heard of but never visited. Must have been hell there, but welcome home.
After my first censored post I left it, twitter, and Instagram several years ago – haven’t missed it.
Too many people think the online world is reality – it’s not even close unless it’s the cancel culture part.
Farce book has always been a crock. My wife signed me up, but I never used it!
I have never had a fakebook or twatter account, ever. There are plenty of other ways to communicate and find news and other information.
I needed it to comment in the local paper. They got rid of the comments section leading up to mostly peaceful riot season, so I guess the Facebook just sits idle now. That is all I have ever done with it.
No Facebook for me. I roll my eyes (to myself) when people want to tell me what they saw or heard on Facebook. Seems that it’s where they spend most of their time and is the source of most of their news. Sad.
Easy solution. I don’t have any of those types of social media accounts. The one exception is LinkedIn because you almost have to have one there for job hunting.
Some years ago, at the urging of my adult children, I created a FB account and linked to the kids and a couple friends. Five total.
Next morning, I had 183 “friends,” including a bevy of ex-in-laws and people I didn’t know. I closed the account immediately.
Fifteen hours was enough for me.
Welcome to the party, pal! 😉
Dumped my account back in June! 😀
If you want to talk to someone, pick up the phone and dial the number..
Late to the party Mark.
