Eric Adams: ‘People Need to Realize’ That ‘I’m The Symbol of Black Manhood’

National File: New York City Mayor Eric Adams said that “people need to realize” that he is “the symbol of black manhood” in a bizarre rant he made during a speech at a Brooklyn Church. The comments mark just the latest time that Adams has made a highly unusual statement, having previously claimed that God told him 30 years ago he’d become the Mayor of New York City. Adams was recently busted by The New York Times for carrying a stock image around in his wallet and claiming that it is the photo of a police officer and friend who was murdered in the 1980s.

“I’m the symbol of black manhood in this city, in this country and what it represents,” Adams claimed as he lashed out at the media and others who have dared to question him. “I am the mayor of the most powerful city on the globe and people need to recognize that.” more

  1. ‘Any man who has to say “I am the King” is no king’ or something like that from some Dragon and pony show/book.

Respect, I’ve been told, is earned. Letting criminals off w/o bail and prosecuting good Samaritans who fight crime and protect others actually earns scorn at best being being laughed at not only here but globally is the worse. But when you lack any sense of self-awareness what you get is a man child crying for respect while the city is crumbling down around him.

    This is where we are…

  2. The one thing you can have, until you say you have it.
    Humility
    Obviously not the case here.
That’s how all Dems think, they just don’t say it out loud.

“I’m the symbol of black manhood?”
    Seriously?

This guy thinks all negro men are faggots?

  4. He should identify as a black rat bastard and the worst example of black manhood.
He looks like and has more in common with the NYC rats that infest the sewers, overrunning most NYC subways, apartments, restaurants and stores pooping on and eating anything they find.

  5. “The symbol of Black manhood”. More like the symbol of delusion. Working with law enforcement and politicians I’ve seen many who possess very high opinions of themselves. Humility is a rare commodity among a large percentage of this class. Makes sense though. Narcissism, a parasitic lifestyle and superficial charm are some of the characteristics of psychopaths.
